This weeks Wedding Advice Wednesday: Guest Book Help!

Q. Dear Laura, ever since I got engaged we have been so busy with wedding plans, and it seems like friends and family, (mostly past brides) have been offering me endless advice on what to do for my wedding, especially when it comes to the guest book. I guess the guestbook has become more involved than I was thinking?  Here I was thinking that I would just pick up a pre-made guest book and have everyone sign-in before the reception...Silly Me! Now, after hearing some of their ideas and what I COULD do for my guest-book it had me excited to find out more. Could you explain to me some of the guestbook trends, and where I might track down some of the supplies needed???

A. First, let me say thank you for contacting me with your question! The guest book is one of those wedding details that can go one of two ways.... simple and traditional or trendy, memorable and more of a highlight of the wedding. Just know that whatever you choose it will be perfect! Below I have featured MANY of the guestbook trends, and where to find the products and supplies at.  Several are a bit involved and will take some time and planning to come together. Others are a bit more simple and yet fun and interactive for your guests.

Whatever you choose, whether it's traditional or trendy it's a good idea to have something at your wedding to keep track of the guests in. It’s a way for your guests to sign-in and  possibly write you a short note that you can look back on in years to come, a memento from your day.  Guest book can be an important addition to the day itself and the memories afterwards.
