Inspirational Wedding: Green is the New Black

Okay, now THIS is a wedding I have been dying to share with our readers. The Bride is the wondrously talented lady behind the BLOG Unruly Things. She was married last year and throughout the planning process was a gracious guest blogger on 100 layer cakes, and shared her  inspiration for her Portland wedding, her invites, her bridesmaid dresses, and her flowers. AMAZING! Well her wedding was more magical than you could possible imagine, lush and green and full of unique little botanical curiosities.
Beyond Amazing, and truly FULL of inspiration for all our "GREEN" Brides and Grooms. Soak it all in, and don't forget to check out HER inspiration by clicking on the links above.... enjoy!

First, we shall begin with her gorgeous invites. Styled perfectly of course.

B.... is for Bells of Ireland: Flowers 101

BELLS of IRELAND

I absolutely love when clients see this flower and their eyes widen as they ask..... "what is that amazing green flower?" The answer is -of course- the fabulous.... Bells of Ireland.  I love their color, height and free spirited feel, grounded with strong modern curves. Ever since I was first introduced to these guys I have been seriously drawn to them. Lucky for us they can go modern, rustic, edgy or just plain pretty, AND best of all they are available year round.

Perfect for hand-tied bouquets and simple centerpieces...

Thursday Tablescapes....PART 3

Hooray!! It's THURSDAY!
and its also
ST PATRICK'S DAY
So I decided it would be appropriate to save our "green-themed" tablescape for the day the world celebrates GREEN.
If you tuned in last few weeks for Part 1 and Part 2  then you know that we are taking a few moments each Thursday to feature photos from various photo-shoots we have been a part of over the last year.
(if you missed it ...take a moment it is worth checking it out!)
For this particular shoot we wanted to focus on a more intimate styled affair, really playing with the linen tones and lighting to convey just the right romantic atmosphere. Our color palette for the setting was STEEL BLUE, CHARTRUSE GREEN & CHOCOLATE BROWN.... a little unconventional, but after looking at the photos I am sure you will agree they look beyond fabulous when paired together.
We of course teamed up once again with the fabulous artists at
We were so grateful for all their hard work and attention to detail on these shoots, and can't thank them enough for all they did!

Steel Blue pin-tucked linens and Chocolate Crush, runners and napkins gave us a luxe base to build our tablescape on.

We really wanted to play with height and dimension for the floral arrangements,
and sure enough.... we immediately fell in love with all of the variety that BLOOMERS provided us with! Green Spider Mum, Cymbidium Orchids, Green Gladiolus even tiny mounds of Green Moss. BLOOMERS really went the extra mile to keep our color palette true.... through and through.

Orchids and Apple-tinis.... what more can you ask for?? Especially when they accented the variety of glass vessels perfectly!

I adore how much personality the Chocolate & Lime Green colored seat cushions added to the over-all look. They added a whole new dimension to an all ready inviting table setting.

The close-up shots are some of my favorites. I was floored to see how well NICK ADAMS PHOTOGRAPHY captured the mood of the seductive candle light bouncing off the glasses and flower-arrangements. AMAZING!

Custom Menus were printed for each guest setting. Matching ink, hand-picked fonts for the table numbers and menus....nothing was missed! Every detail was chosen specifically to represent the end goal.
An intimate candlelight dinner for the closest of friends and family.

DELICIOUS!

FME: Featured Wedding Friday

Welcome to
Forevermore Events
FEATURED WEDDING FRIDAY
It's Friday and we have a stunning wedding to share with you this week. This reception was held at the Brides beautiful home in the heart of Green Springs, UT.  It's only been a few short weeks since they said "I Do" and this wedding has already been featured on Bride Access.com.
After looking at the gallery of pictures I am sure you will see why!

Held at the Brides gorgeous home in Green Springs, UT

 Vintage typewriter sign-in-book

The house was SO beautiful! I couldn't help but take a few extra detail shots.

Bird cages and large prints were suspended from fishing line above gorgeous cabinets filled with photos and candles.

Fun pearl details and vintage cameras were scattered among photos of the Bride and Groom.

Outstanding flower arrangements provided by Bloomers

Bloomers Floral & Gifts created amazing, one-of-a-kind flower arrangements for the occasion. Vases filled with delicate roses, lizzianthus, china mums and berries were nestled sweetly in hundreds of loose pearls and ivory tulle.

Delicious gourmet goodies prepared by Marvellous Catering

The flawless wedding cake was the centerpiece for the CHOCOLATE ONLY candy bar, and was designed by Icings Cakes by Design

Guests were greeted by an unbelievable view. The infinity pool was framed by blue sky's and red rocks as far as the eye could see.

WOW!
And if the guests got a little chilly while enjoying the view, Marvellous Catering had a scrumptious Hot Cocoa Bar waiting for them to enjoy.

The Vintage get-a-way car was one of my favorite details!

Even though they had several remarkable cars to choose from, the delightful emerald green MG was definitely my favorite!

The perfect get-a-way car for a more than perfect event.

For more details of this extraordinary event check out the Video that was featured on BRIDE ACCESS
