Exquisite Vintage Revival Wedding Dresses!

From polished hair and dramatic make-up to demure color pallets and nostalgic accents... VINTAGE Wedding trends are popping up all over Wedding Blogs and Inspiration Boards.
Vintage trends are especially showing up on runways throughout the fashion industry! AND as we all know, when it comes to weddings after the RING...what comes next is the DRESS!

WEDDING INSPIRASI, (a Bridal Fashion Blog, that is known for featuring the best-of-the-best in the Wedding Fashion Industry,) recently opened our eyes to several new lines of exquisite wedding dresses.  The collection we are featuring today comes from Yolan Cris an outstanding dress designer from Barcelona. His 2011 dress line is lovingly titled REVIVAL VINTAGE.

~There was a precious time in which, even in black and white, was innate elegance. An era that managed to coin a timeless style, where the genius of mind and demeanor were really important, The Roaring 20's~
Quote from the Yolan Cris Website:

Crystals, feathers, lace and fringe this line is brimming with inspired accents on heavily beaded vintage Chantilly lace, and don't forget the beautiful flapper style accessories to match. Even if a "Designer Dress" is not what you are looking for, ANY Bride looking at having a roaring 20s themed wedding will be inspired by this collection!

DIY: Monogrammed Bridesmaids Gifts

Today on the Forevermore Events BLOG we wanted to post a fun and SUPER easy Do It Yourself (DIY) project, for those special ladies in your life.
YOUR BRIDESMAIDS
After-all, your bridesmaids will be the ones standing next to you on the most important day of your life. I am sure that women that significant deserve a little SWAG..right?
Well, even if you are "crafty-challenged" this is an easy to project that will take you less than a day, and under $5 per gift.

The trend these days is Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and this gift fits right in perfectly, while being fashionable at the same time!
After reading about this DIY project on Design*Sponge & the lovely Ashley Ann Photography I just knew I wanted to share it with all of our readers! I have expanded the directions, because I am one of the "those" people that like a REALLY thorough tutorial.... so I hope that helps a little~

doily_canvas_bag_design_sponge

Most of the supplies can be gathered from your local craft and fabric store, but I recently saw the LARGE paper doilies at The Dollar Store, and the local Party Supply store...after a quick reconnaissance trip i was pleasantly surprised to find that the local walmart had all the supplies in stock. So between the Craft Department and Party Supply Aisle, you will be all set.

Items Needed:
One Canvas bag (they also had plain aprons that would be super cute)
Acrylic Craft Paint- BLACK (or the color of your choice)
Spray adhesive
Paint Brush - stencil brush for applying the paint and a *fine tip* brush for filling in the letters
LARGE paper Doilies- the ones i found are the kind that go under fancy cakes- came 10 to a package.
and printable card-stock (if you want to make a LETTER stencil instead of free-handing it)

diy doily tote bag bridesmaids gifts

You may want to purchase an extra bag or do a trial run on a separate piece of fabric till you get the hang of it.
Begin by coating the backside of the doily with spray adhesive and getting it placed -just right- on your canvas bag. Let dry for a few minutes.
Start applying the paint slowly and carefully, make sure not to go over the edges, here is where all that "coloring inside the lines will come in handy" once that is coated well, let dry before peeling off the doily. With the fine brush touch up any missed spots and let dry for at least one hour before beginning the letters.

For the Initials, go to your computer and find a font that you like for the monograms. Print them out (as large as you will need them) on the cardstock or even vellum if you have it handy.

Then use an exacto knife to carefully cut out the letter leaving a perfect stencil for your monogram.
Tape the stencil onto the bag making sure to not let it move while you are painting it. I would suggest using a pencil and tracing it on there then painting it carefully by hand with the *fine tip* brush, but try both ways and see what comes out better for you.

You will adore the final product! Sleek, Trendy, Reusable.

Then, if you are feeling generous you can fill them with small gifts and goodies. A few ideas.... Body Lotions, Jewelry, Flip-flops, Photo Album, Journal, Chocolates, Scarf, or Gift Certificates for Massages or Manicures. So much fun wrapped in a personalized -Handmade by YOU- Gift Bag!

Worried about taking on the project by yourself?? Turn it into a Bridal Shower Project, that way Bridesmaids, Sisters, Mothers and Mother-to-be will have a chance to share in the fun and personalize the BAG their way!
Or you can call Forevermore Events today and we can get you a bid on MAKING these adorable custom bags for you!

Thursday Tablescapes....Part 2

Hooray!! It's THURSDAY!

If you tuned in last week for Part 1 of "Thursday Tablescapes" then you know that we are taking a few moments each Thursday to feature photos from various photo-shoots we have been a part of over the last year.
(if you missed it it is worth taking a moment and checking it out!)

Again, for this shoot we teamed up with the brilliant and talented minds at

AND

I am especially fond of this Tablescape! I loved how the colors came together harmoniously, yet still had a dramatic overall effect. The CORALS, PEACHES, PINKS and soft HONEYSUCKLE were the perfect offset for the touches of striking TURQUOISE. We chose an outdoor location for this shoot because we had access to an amazing vintage
1956 Chevrolet Bell Air. It was the perfect element to have at this shoot!
I ADORE the Chandelier in this tablescape!

Gold tinted mercury glass-filled with ROSES, HYDRANGEAS, and RANUNCULUS really made the table come alive. I love fresh flowers! They always add that final touch, the living element that every table setting needs. Whether the centerpieces tower over the guests or are nestled in among table-numbers, trinkets or photos, don't forget the FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS!
STUNNING! Thank you BLOOMERS!

Custom place-cards/menus were a special addition, and added quite a bit of flair to the beautiful floral patterned china plates.
For this setting we wanted to show how to incorporated your guest favors, into the over-all design. We had jars of delicious local honey placed near each table setting, had precious custom "Meant to BEE" labels made for each jar. They looked so adorable and inviting cradled in the satin turquoise table runner.

The copper clocks and Gold-tinted ruby goblets were such an wonderful find!
BREATHTAKING!

FME: Featured Wedding Friday

Welcome to
Forevermore Events
FEATURED WEDDING FRIDAY
It's Friday and we have a stunning wedding to share with you this week. This reception was held at the Brides beautiful home in the heart of Green Springs, UT.  It's only been a few short weeks since they said "I Do" and this wedding has already been featured on Bride Access.com.
After looking at the gallery of pictures I am sure you will see why!

Held at the Brides gorgeous home in Green Springs, UT

 Vintage typewriter sign-in-book

The house was SO beautiful! I couldn't help but take a few extra detail shots.

Bird cages and large prints were suspended from fishing line above gorgeous cabinets filled with photos and candles.

Fun pearl details and vintage cameras were scattered among photos of the Bride and Groom.

Outstanding flower arrangements provided by Bloomers

Bloomers Floral & Gifts created amazing, one-of-a-kind flower arrangements for the occasion. Vases filled with delicate roses, lizzianthus, china mums and berries were nestled sweetly in hundreds of loose pearls and ivory tulle.

Delicious gourmet goodies prepared by Marvellous Catering

The flawless wedding cake was the centerpiece for the CHOCOLATE ONLY candy bar, and was designed by Icings Cakes by Design

Guests were greeted by an unbelievable view. The infinity pool was framed by blue sky's and red rocks as far as the eye could see.

WOW!
And if the guests got a little chilly while enjoying the view, Marvellous Catering had a scrumptious Hot Cocoa Bar waiting for them to enjoy.

The Vintage get-a-way car was one of my favorite details!

Even though they had several remarkable cars to choose from, the delightful emerald green MG was definitely my favorite!

The perfect get-a-way car for a more than perfect event.

For more details of this extraordinary event check out the Video that was featured on BRIDE ACCESS
