DIY: Lollipop Favors

I recently discovered  I Do Crafts - a blog that makes do it yourself weddings projects simple.
One of their cutest ideas that I came across is this Do It Yourself  lollipop favor.

lollipopfavors1.jpg

How adorable is that? I love the inovation of taking a simple photo of you and your true love and turning into something your guests will adore and appreciate. A sweet and simple personalized favor, and not to mention a bit of sweet candy!  Having these displayed in tin buckets or rustic baskets on the way out of your reception would be a great way to say thank you! Check out the step by step "how to" below.

SO easy right? A hundred or so prints,  a couple bags of your favorite lollipops and just a few hours of work, and wham-o! you have a inexpensive and fabulous personalized favor.

If you like this, hop on over to I Do Crafts and have a look at their other cool ideas.

Love the idea but don't have the time to DIY this one??
Give Forevermore Events a call and we can help make it happen!

FME: Featured Wedding Friday

Welcome!
It's Friday, and you know what that means. It's time to feature another glamorous event, designed and coordinated by Forevermore Events!
We have an elegant wedding to share with you today.

Taysia & Chris and their families came to us and asked Forevermore Events to help plan an intimate dinner/reception for their close family and friends. We loved the idea of simplifying the event, but still keep the theme and classic elements that they were wanting very prominent.

We were lucky enough to get a few images from Taysia & Chris's Bridal Shoot with Tiffany Jane Photography, and just HAD to show off how cute this couple is!

Amazing! Thank you Tiffany Jane!

Taysia & Chris chose The Villa Gardens Reception Center for the location of their event. It was well suited for the intimate setting they wanted, and the dark woods and gold accents matched their color pallet perfectly.

The long head table was adorned with gold tinted- mercury glass vases filled with roses, orchids and burgundy dahlias.

The Bride and Groom chose BLOOMERS to provide them with unique floral arrangements for each of the guest tables. I was so impressed by how well each flower was hand picked by Bloomers to match the Brides color pallet perfectly. The dominant sultry gold china mums and deep burgundy dahlias really popped next to the champagne table linens.

Each centerpiece was filled with gold china mums, burgundy dahlias, goldenrod cymbidium orchids, creamy ivory roses magnolia leaves and touches of spotted feathers. OUTSTANDING!

Custom Menus and favor cards were designed specifically for the event by the local design team at BUMBLE LOVE

OH...and the food! MARVELLOUS CATERING spoiled the wedding guests with a build your own pasta bar, fresh green salads, specialty drinks, decadent desserts and dreamy artisan bread!
It makes me hungry just looking at the pictures!

De-lish!
A few more of the outstanding floral arrangements.... How gorgeous are those China Mums??

And LAST but not least.... The Wedding Favors

I was so happy with how these came out!
Each guest received a fresh  white chocolate-carameled apple, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar! YUM... all ready to be enjoyed. Tied with a golden ribbon and adorned with custom tags, made specially for the Bride and Groom.

Head to Toe this was a gorgeous wedding, and we were so fortunate to be a part of Taysia & Chris's special day! Congratulations you two!

Thursday Tablescapes....Part 2

Hooray!! It's THURSDAY!

If you tuned in last week for Part 1 of "Thursday Tablescapes" then you know that we are taking a few moments each Thursday to feature photos from various photo-shoots we have been a part of over the last year.
(if you missed it it is worth taking a moment and checking it out!)

Again, for this shoot we teamed up with the brilliant and talented minds at

AND

I am especially fond of this Tablescape! I loved how the colors came together harmoniously, yet still had a dramatic overall effect. The CORALS, PEACHES, PINKS and soft HONEYSUCKLE were the perfect offset for the touches of striking TURQUOISE. We chose an outdoor location for this shoot because we had access to an amazing vintage
1956 Chevrolet Bell Air. It was the perfect element to have at this shoot!
I ADORE the Chandelier in this tablescape!

Gold tinted mercury glass-filled with ROSES, HYDRANGEAS, and RANUNCULUS really made the table come alive. I love fresh flowers! They always add that final touch, the living element that every table setting needs. Whether the centerpieces tower over the guests or are nestled in among table-numbers, trinkets or photos, don't forget the FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS!
STUNNING! Thank you BLOOMERS!

Custom place-cards/menus were a special addition, and added quite a bit of flair to the beautiful floral patterned china plates.
For this setting we wanted to show how to incorporated your guest favors, into the over-all design. We had jars of delicious local honey placed near each table setting, had precious custom "Meant to BEE" labels made for each jar. They looked so adorable and inviting cradled in the satin turquoise table runner.

The copper clocks and Gold-tinted ruby goblets were such an wonderful find!
BREATHTAKING!

True Love Meets by the Sea -- Part 1

We are going to begin featuring a FOREVERMORE EVENT every FRIDAY, but this particular wedding has so many delicious details that we are splitting it into TWO posts. ONE today and the second part on FRIDAY.
So don't forget to check back at the end of the week for the rest of

True Love ....Meets by the Sea

We are so excited to finally share the pictures of one of our favorite weddings from the past year. This wedding was inspired by all things Nautical. From the clean color pallet of True Yellow, Bright White, Navy Blue and splashes of Aqua, to the actual sail boats that were brought in specially for the wedding. Not a detail was missed. The Bride and Groom were so easy to work with and were overwhelmed by how well FOREVERMORE EVENTS brought their ideas to life. I could go on and on, but I think I will let the pictures speak for themselves....

 Welcome to The Gardens

Guests were greeted by a fun and interactive seating chart. They had to scan the world map until they found their name, which coordinated with a table number.

The guests were then greeted by the Bride and Groom standing in front of a gorgeous, full size sailboat with a rainbow striped sail. It was one of my favorite details of this event!

Smaller sailboats also lined the pathways, serving as the perfect place for the guests to set their gifts.

As the guests entered the large white tents they were greeted by a plethora of beautiful centerpieces, compliments of Patches a local flower shop. They did an amazing job with the flower arrangements especially the bride bouquet!

The favors are also one of my favorite details! We worked with BUMBLE  LOVE, a local graphic design and wedding details company, and MARVELLOUS CATERING to create the perfect favor for this wedding. Individually boxed dough-nuts, ordered specially with white glaze and yellow sprinkles. We thought the shape of the dough-nuts resembled a sailboats "life-preserver" and fit perfectly into the theme of the wedding.

Tune in later this week for PART TWO of this Amazing Wedding!
